Carin Coyne

Board of Directors

Carin Coyne joined the board after feeling a void left by her break from teaching third grade. Carin taught in Framingham, MA for eight years before deciding to stay home with her son. During that time she came to recognize many of the struggles families face in urban living. This knowledge, accompanied by her belief that children who have their basic needs met have a stronger foundation prompted her to get involved with Baby Basics. Carin is thrilled to be in a group that focuses on fundamental needs.

Rose Evans

Rose Evans

Board of Directors

Rose Evans is a student and our first youth Board member! Rose became involved last year doing community service. Her first impression of Baby Basics was how personal the experience was. Over the course of the year, she was struck by the closeness between volunteers and families and she believes it to be the reason the experience felt like one of giving and receiving from both parties.  She feels very fortunate to be part of an organization where she could meet the families involved and remember them with each passing month.

Rose is grateful to help in a hands on way, handing out diapers directly to the families and getting to see them smile and hear them speak their gratitude. Rose sees community service, and any kind of service for that matter, is always a two-way street and is grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward.
