How Can I Help?

There are many ways in which you can help support the mission of Baby Basics to provide for the families of South Boston. Listed below are examples of ways in which you can help.

BECOME A BABY BASICS DONOR
Without the support of our faithful donors, Baby Basics would not be able to function. 100% of all donations go to providing diapers to our participating babies. Your contribution can absolutely change the life of a baby in need! We also welcome donations to cover administrative costs. These donations should be noted as such please.

If you would like to make a donation, below are some levels of support to consider:
$35 buys 1 month of diapers
$70 buys 2 months of diapers for 1 child
$210 buys 6 months of diapers for 1 child
$420 buys 1 year of diapers for 1 child
$1,260 buys 3 years of diapers for 1 child

CONSIDER GETTING INVOLVED!
Baby Basics, Inc. is an entirely volunteer organization. Our working Board coordinates all fundraising, public relations, diaper distribution, and community involvement programs. The continuing success of Baby Basics points to the variety of talents our volunteers bring, and their commitment and dedication to staying with the mission of providing this important service to families in need.

We particularly need help with grant writing and fundraising, as well as help distributing diapers. We distribute diapers on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 6:30-7 p.m. at a church in South Boston. If you are interested in learning more about these or other opportunities, please let us know the best way to contact you to further discuss. Thanks for your interest!

Baby Basics frequently partners with local organizations to educate the community about our program. Events such as diaper drives have benefited Baby Basics and fulfilled a need to increase our visibility within the community.
